Club Goers that Mourned Pacha NYC may have a new destination

Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Earlier this year Verboten was shut down after over $360K in unpaid taxes. The club at 54 North 11th St, has been purchased by Eddie Dean, former owner of Pacha NYC. Pacha NYC was an iconic club located in Hells Kitchen, it closed down in January of 2016 after a decade ( which in club years is about 2 lifetimes) before reopening in Macau.

Dean plans on opening Fall 2016.  A press release summed up the vision for this new venue.

Their collective long-term plan for the venue is to become a creative hub for musicians and artists and tap into the maker-culture of DIY Brooklyn with arts, music, food, and community life. It is anticipated that the venue will continue to host live music concerts and DJ shows, booking globally renowned talent, as well as seek to be an incubator for up and coming talent for all genres of music.

Will this be an open format Mecca for NYC? A new home for all those who miss Pacha NYC? Only time will tell, we look forward to covering this venue once it opens its doors.

AhhYeah!
